What gives the most smithing xp on runescape?

Gold ores (with gauntlets) are the best smithing experience in the game gaining 56.2 experience per ore smelted which is more than runite ores! But Gold ores is going to cost you a lot of money check the price in the prices section, but if you are mining them then you have got the best experience possible for free, but of course this will take you longer. But hang on their before you go grab your money or you pickaxes you need to make sure that you have the Goldsmith Gauntlets, to get them you need to complete The Family Crest quest.

When worn, the gauntlets increase the Smithing experience gained when smelting gold bars from 22.5 to 56.2. There are no requirements to wear these gloves and they can be obtained by bringing the magical Family gauntlets and 25,000 coins to Avan.-these are the things that give you the 56.2 experience per ore rather than the normal 22.5 experience per ore.
