Is the peace sign from the 80's 70's or 60's?

If you're referring to the upside-down V-inside-a-circle symbol, it was created in 1958 by Gerald Holtom for the British nuclear disarmament movement. The symbol is actually a combination of the traditional nautical semaphore symbols for the letters "N" and "D".
