The main purpose of an intelligence test?

Its to try and assign everyone a number or grade based on what the folks who wrote the test believe determines intelligence.

In truth, theres no way to tell how smart someone is.

Example: Someone might do poorly on an intelligence test because they're terrible at math, but they might be a genius on the inner workings of a car
