What does delusion mean in a school way?

Informally it could just mean that you're imagining something... like you're deluded into thinking the hot guy is in love with you, when he really isn't.

In a more formal sense, it means you are hallucinating... sensing something that isn't really there... a serious medical condition that needs to be treated.
