When peregrine falcon chicks leave the nest, a process known as fledging, they begin to develop their flying skills and independence. Initially, they may remain close to the nest site as they practice flying and learn to hunt. During this time, they rely on their parents for food and guidance. Eventually, they become fully independent, capable of hunting on their own and establishing their own territories.
