Where does the CDT start in NM?

The Continental Divide Trail (CDT) begins in New Mexico at the southern terminus near the border with Mexico in the Bootheel region. Specifically, it starts at the Crazy Cook Monument, which is located at the end of a dirt road off Highway 81. The trail then follows the Continental Divide northward through the diverse landscapes of New Mexico.
