B-complex Vitamin, Magnesium and Vitamin
D3
Without the B-vitamins you cannot absorb other
essential vitamins and minerals. The B-complex helps with nerve
tissue as well as brain health. Alzheimer patients have been noted
to be low in B-1, B-6 and B-12 all necessary for brain power like
thinking and remembering.
As we grow older, special 65 and older our
digestion system has a harder time to absorb the B-vitamins from
food intake.
Most adults are low in magnesium. Magnesium is
necessary for the relaxation of muscles. One reason for the pain we
get in the calves of our legs, or better known as "Charlie
horse."
Magnesium is also needed for strong bone
health, heart health, and regular bowl movements.
Lack of magnesium is linked to IBS, acid
reflux or heart burn and other digestive problems.
Low or deficiency of Vitamin-D has now been
linked to poor bone health. Calcium breaks down without the
presence of Vitamin-D3.
Lack of the vitamin has also been linked to
pain, like people with chronic musculoskeletal pain, multiple
sclerosis, fibromyalgia, chronic Back pain, chronic headaches,
menstrual pain, even pain associated with sickle cell anemia.
Low Vitamin-D3 is linked to higher cholesterol
and depression or emotional problems.
