Why wont your x l r to microphone jack mic work you have a Behring er c 1 microphone linked to a x l r cable to microphone cable with a 6.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter what is the problem?

Okay... to methodically solve the problem - test each component separately. Plug everything in - and start with a replacement mic. If that works, your mic is faulty. If not, replace the cable with one you know works. Again - if that solves the problem - the cable was faulty. Same procedure for the adaptor. This works in any circuit - replace each component individually until you find the faulty one.
