Well, for my little girl, she wears a size 6. Actually, if you're considering the weights for five-year olds 2, then that's a whole another thing. It depends on the bone size. Ask your doctor about it. I know some eight-year old who weigh 49 and at age 13 80 pounds.

5 year-old boy- Skinny bones- 45 pounds Medium- 50-53 Large: 54-57

5 year-old girl: 44 pounds Medium : 49: 52 Large: 53-56

Still, it's up to your doctor. The bone type matters, though. Your doctor can recommend an appropiate weight, how much fat your kid has, and how much they are supposed to have. Contact them.
