Get your wife to love you again?

Buying gifts is a short cut and not guaranteed way out of the woods. Its very much the little things that make a big difference. Try and think back to when you first fell in love, try and recapture the scene. Help her around the house without telling her, she'll feel like your sucking up to her. Besides woman have a tendency to get very angry when men say 'I did the washing for you,' ... seeing as it's not set in concrete that its her job, and it's hardly anything to get excited about. So do the dishes and other little bits, maybe a DIY job she's been nagging about, then say nothing. Don't say 'did you notice, do you like, I did this.' Over years she'll have possibly done bits for you without you even noticing and saying Thank you for. Doing this just shows her you appreciate what she does. If you want to take the showering of gifts approach, make sure you have the emotions and support to back it. She needs to feel it from your heart. Make sure you tell her you love her, that she's beautiful etc. If things get really tough suggest a relationship counselor, and if things are totally over, don't try too hard to make it work so that you run yourself down. Hopefully she just needs a reminder of your love and everything will fall back into place, but never forget this episode, otherwise she may just walk next time.
