How do you start a carbon offset company?

From what I understand you need to incorporate as an LLC. Then simply design an interactive website which is both attractive and functional and pick projects that you will funnell offset money towards. Example if someone buys a $50 carbon offset. Your company would donate $40 to the fund (growing trees, building a commercial composting site, whatever..) and you would keep the other $10. A Carbon offset company is simply a vehicle by which you drive customers towards a pet project that they would ordinarily have dontated to anyway. You are just providing a service. You touch the money and keep a little for yourself.
