What did taffy steal from the house?

Taffy was a Welshman

Taffy was a thief

Taffy came to my house

And stole a piece of beef.

The rhyme goes on to accuse Taffy of stealing a marrow bone and a silver pin.

(and as I'm half Welsh, may I add that Taffy was probably unjustly accused).
