How do Alexandra Atticus Scout Jem and Dill feel about the events at the jail?

Atticus Finch is a bit unhappy. He didn't want his children and dill to worry about public conflicts but rather spend their childhood understanding truth and enjoying life. He told Jem to take Scout and Dill back home but Jem refused at first. The men forced Atticus to force his children to leave.
