How do you figure what percentage one number is of another?

divide first # by second # and take first two decimals

ex: 2=50% of 4 because 2 divided by 4 is .50

be sure to round up the second decimal if third decimal is 5 or more or just put new decimal point after second number ex: if 1st # divided by second is 0.539 first # is 53.9% of second
