What does it mean to be intact?

When a male child is born the whole penis including the glans at the head is covered by skin. the piece at the front is called the foreskin. in time the fore skin is able to be pulled back at will to expose the glans of the penis. Due to religious tradition these are cut of away from the penis of many men when they are children. however those that escape this form of mutilation are described as being uncircumcised
