Why do seagulls gather?

You see, seaguls like most avian birds in the 'Fulactucus' family, nest always facing north. This is due to gravitational pull pulling the hollow bones of the vertabrea. The lack of density means that they cannot control this. That is why you will only see Fulactucus birds fly north.
