How do you end a diary entry?

well you finish a diary entry when you close the book, but you end a day or date by just stoping or stop when you finish the thing that you did in that day.
what u do is when u dont want to write anymore just write....................................dear diary i want to tell u more but as i think this is enough for today i think i will have to move on i will write in u tommorow i promise,
