What is the mountain range separating European and Asia?

The Ural Mountains.

They lie in a north to South direction at approximately longitude 60 oE.

They are not particularly high . However, they stretch from the Arctic Ocean, to the Caspian Sea. They separate European Russia , from Asiatic Russia (Siberia).
