Canadians have family ties in almost every country in the world what does this mean?

It means different Canadians have come from different countries. If you ask a blonde Canadian, she probably has cousins in Europe, but if you ask an Asian-looking Canadian, she probably has cousins in China, India, Thailand or somewhere.

It doesn't mean every Canadian has cousins in every country.
