Did Mary Read have a family?

Mary Read, the famous English pirate, had a complex background. She was born in 1691 and raised as a boy for a time to secure her inheritance. While she did have a relationship with fellow pirate Anne Bonny, there is little evidence to suggest that she had a family in the traditional sense, such as children or a long-term partner outside of her life as a pirate. Her life was primarily marked by her adventures at sea rather than familial ties.
