It is hard to define a large business because the size of a business can be measured in many ways.

By sales turnover

By number of shops or offices or factories

By Value of the company

By Size of market share

By number of employees

By type of ownership

A Business may have a large number of employees but a small market share. Once you know in what way are they large then you can create your definition.
