I don't know about the top 10, but here are five of the very largest ones. Most of these numbers are from 2010 but a few of them are from 2008/9.
- European soccer earned 9.5 billion. There are multiple leagues and lot more teams, so it's not really fair to compare the average team's value.
- The NFL (American Football) earned 8 billion dollars, and the average team is worth about a billion.
- Major League Baseball in the US earned 7 billion dollars in 2010 and the average team is worth almost a half a billion.
- The NBA (Basketball) earned 4 billion, and the average team is worth over a third of a billion.
- NHL Hockey earned 3 billion and the average team is worth a quarter of a billion.
