How do you stop a animal from moving away in animal crossing wild world?

You can stop your animal friends from moving by going to talk to them when they have got boxes in their houses and when it comes up to talk to them say ' Dont Go!' and if you do it a few times and they say 'I might change my mind' then they will probably stay. Or you could send them a letter or two with presents in saying good things about that animal .I hope this helps xYou could prevent this by making your town look nice for example don't have alot of weeds.
