You can drown, obviously. But there are also sharks and poisonous fish Sharks! Although more people are killed each year in Hawaii from coconuts falling on their heads than from shark bites, shark attacks just get more media coverage. Also the reason sharks attack surfers, is because the surf boards make the surfers look like seals from the sharks point of view.
