If I replaced a bad battery in a 1992 Volvo 740 but the engine won't turn over what could be wrong?

Check the following....battery connections, look for loose connections, corroded connectors or cables. Check connections at the starter. If possible (if you have tools and know how) check for proper voltage at the starter.
