What does santa smoke?

Good grief, no! Santa Claus is well aware of the health dangers of smoking. How else do you think he has managed to live for so long?

Some may think that Santa smokes. In The night Before Christmas it says, "the stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, and the smoke encircled his head like a wreath". However, this is purely for effect, and it is part of Santa's magic. He would not lead children astray by setting a bad example of smoking.
