Where is the spirit in mans body?

When a body dies the spirit or consciousness remains with the body fallen asleep until the body is ressurrected. The Bible is quite clear on this and references several times about people who have fallen asleep. The soul on the other hand goes into one of two places at the time of death. It either goes to Heaven to be with God or it goes to Hell. Jesus taught this in the story about Lazarus and the rich man. So then you have to ask the question how do I get to Heaven? Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life NO man comes unto the Father but by me." That means you must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to get into Heaven. That does not mean that you have to know about him rather instead you must know him on a deep and intimate level and place him as Lord of your life. The Bible says broad is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the gate to Heaven and few there be that find it. Jesus also said that on judgement day that not everyone that says LORD LORD will get into Heaven. The ones who will get in have followed the Father's will and have given their hearts to Christ. This message is meant for you to read and you must understand what you do with Jesus Christ will determine your eternal destiny. If you call upon his name and ask him to forgive you and repent and turn from your wicked ways God will cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness. Jesus was sent to seek and to save that which was lost [meaning you and me]. God does not force himself on you he loves you asnd wants you to willingly join him in Heaven. He is waiting to hear from you....
