What would happen if the US tried to take over the world?

The USA is already having problems with the Middle East. We would certainly struggle attacking the UK, China, or Russia. Even if we could successfully attack, lets say England, the rest of the U.N. would turn against us and America could not fight off every country in the U.N. especially with Canada right above us.
