+ Follow

1/4 cup of white vinegar

1/2 cup of laundry detergent (unscented is better)

1/2 cup sugar

2 quarts hot water

Mix ingredients well. Apply to walls with sponge, terry cloth, or microfiber cloth. Rub gently until clean and wipe dry (you can rinse if you wish, but most of the time it is not necessary). Be certain to clean from the floor upwards, in sections, and wipe off any dribbles. NOTE: This is not the same formula as commercial sugar soap, but works just as well.
