In to kill a mockingbird how does schout and jem view Atticus at the beginning of chapter 10?

Their view of Atticus in the beginning was that he is a boring, old man who can't do anything fun such as hunting or fishing. They didn't appreciate him or weren't proud of him. They wished to have a younger dad who can play and have fun withthem.
