Is usmle necessary to practice in US after an Indian MD in anaesthesiology?

If you would like to practice medicine in US but are a foreign graduate you should pass the USMLE steps (atleast Step 1 and Step 2 CK,CS) before being considered for residency position in any specialization.

You will then get interviews (if you apply to programs) based on you USMLE scores and US experience.
