Why does Lombard feel that Mr Rodgers should be removed from the list of suspects in And Then There Were None?

Lombard believes that Mr. Rogers couldn't have committed the murders because he lacks the physical strength to overpower the victims, especially in the case of the larger men who were killed. Additionally, Lombard considers Rogers' behavior and demeanor to be more characteristic of a loyal and devoted servant rather than a cold-blooded killer.
