If you leave a laptop in the bathroom while the water is running will it break?

Anything electronic can be ruined underwater. Water damages the circuits and laptops can not only be deemed unusable but if they do work afterWords you would probably have water in the screen requiring you to take the screen out and dry it. Not doing so can fry your video connector, making the screen not work at all.
