What is the difference between men and woman 's shoe sizes?

It isn't so much the size, but the shape of the foot. A woman's foot is smaller and more narrow than a man's. Years ago one mold was used for athletic shoes, so the woman's shoes never did fit a woman's foot quite right. Now, they use a mold for women.
