How do you ask a girl out that you like But in a different way then when your just talking to her and all the sudden you say do you want to go out with me. How do you say it in a non-cheesy way?

Just ask her out to a dance if it's nearby and it won't feel random(cause everyone's gonna be asking people out).Or if she knows you pretty good just ask her what kind of new movies she's interested in then ask her if she wants to see it with you(act like it's just a "friend get-together".)But then at the movies make the move.
