How has red pandas adapted to their environment?

Answer.. Red pandas are long tailed, raccoon like nocturnal carnivores. Found in the high mountain Forrest of the Himalayas and adjacent eastern Asia. They are agile climbers, using their tail for balance; but forage for food mainly on the ground. They are extremely territorial and will vigorously mark their boundaries by scent marking.
