Amsterdam Schiphol airport (AMS) is one of the so-called 'Big Four' airports of Europe. The airport has 6 runways and has one large terminal avoiding the hassle of transferring between terminals.

The airport has an underground railway station with frequent trains into the city of Amsterdam and direct connections to many major cities in the Netherlands. Also high-speed trains to Brussels, Paris and Germany are serving the airport.
