What is the difference between a package holiday and an independent holiday?

A package holiday is a break where all 3 elements of your holiday is provided by the same tour operator and is sold as 1! An Independent holiday, of referred to as Tailor made or Dynamically Packaged holidays, are where you organise all the elements yourself with different companies. The benefits often include a wider range of destinations and sometimes the price can be lower. You flight may be with Jet2 your transfers with A2B Transfers and your accommodation with bedsonline.

Some websites will put together all the elements together and sell it as a package but you need to double check this as your rights are different.
