Numbers of players in cricket

There is 11 on each team.

When in the field all 11 players take part. A team can have a 12th man to replace a fielder if they have to leave the ground (normally from injury) but the replacement can't bowl.

When batting you have 2 batsmen at the crease at a time and all 11 of your team bats but they only need 10 wickets as the 11th batsmen can't bat alone.
