What is the occupation of the leprechaun?

Leprechauns are said to be cobblers, or shoemakers. They are mischievous sprites all the same and are known to participate in dancing and faerie rings as well as leading greedy men astray and besting them with riddles. They are known for reveling and enjoy the hunt.
