What is the symbol for Christmas in Egypt?

In Egypt, Christmas is celebrated by the Coptic rites on January 6. Prior to Christmas, a 43 day fast, in which only non-animal foods are consumed, is observed. During the last thirty days of the fast, joy hymns are sung. Homes are decorated in the traditional western ways.
