What kind of eyes do honeybees have?

Assistance in transporting pollen accounts for the reason why honey bees have hairs in their eyes. Tiny hairs cover the beneficial insect's (Apis spp) body. Pollen is impaled on the hairs for transport back to the hive, with help from the long bristles of the honey bee's compound eye when need be.
