Is sr-71 blackbird not in use anymore?

It went into service in 1966 and was retired 1998. The first one was flown in 1964.

A total of 32 were made. The special tools used to manufacture the aircraft were destroyed as part of the manufacturing contract after the last one was made. This prevented any future aircraft being made.

12 of the 32 were destroyed in accidents and none due to enemy action.
