The first one is set in the Middle East around Jerusalem around the time of the third crusade. the second takes place in various cities in renaissance Italy in the 1400's. Botherhoods takes place a few years later but is specifically in Rome. The third in the Ezio saga that is coming out next takes place in Constantinople at the height of the ottoman empire.
