What are the current trends in art education?

Possibly that art and other fine arts are classes that can be eliminated since they are not absolutely necessary and supplies are expensive.

Otherwise:

3. Partnerships with local artists, cultural organizations, and alliances for art education

This would include a range of popular culture--in Arizona, classes are being held in

spray painting murals, an outshoot of graffiti
