How can IQ tests be 'well done' in the matter that there must be someone more intelligent to create a question that appears there and that person' s IQ can never be measured?

Intelligence tests measure the ability to carry out various kinds of reasoning consistently and accurately. They involve many questions, not just one, that measure spatial organization, verbal comprehension, mathematical ability and other factors. None of these require particularly high intelligence to devise, but they do require extensive training and understanding, both to construct and to interpret. Having said that, the writer (who has scored in the top one-half percentile on many IQ tests over the years) is not impressed by high IQ, nor are most social scientists. Performance in the real world is what counts. A "high IQ" simply means that you do well on tests, and many people have been discouraged from pursuing areas of study where they may well have been leaders because of IQ results.
