Most references point to Piyenas [pianki] as being the first ruler of the 25th Dynasty. Piyenas was the successor of Kashta. Some references refer to Kashta as the founder of the 25th Dynasty, but it was Piyenas who ruled both Nubia[Northern Sudan] and Egypt. hope this answers your question
