Who created the Easter Bunny?

See there was this widow. She was quite poor and wanted to get her young children ( age :4 & 5) a gift for Easter. Since she could hardly afford anything, she decided to take some eggs to decorate. So she decorated some eggs, and hid them outside to find. When they found them, they didn't know who hid them. Then a bunny came out of the bushes. So they thought it was the bunny. And after a while, they made it into this huge bunny.
