Miss Jean Brodie symbolizes fascism in terms of her relationship with her students, particularly the Brodie group.

Her eloquence, sophistication, and supposedly advanced techniques of teaching are met with disgust and adoration. However, despite her seemingly sophisticated attitude, Miss Brodie has managed to exemplify certain episodes of being a fascist. Since she has started teaching, she has managed to afflict her students (especially the Brodie group) with a certain kind of thinking and attitude - a kind of thinking and attitude which Miss Brodie considers to be for a modern woman during that time. She used her charm and experience to impress other people as she believes fervently that whatever she does or has gone through is meant for people in high society only. But what her students do not realize (except for one at the end part of the story), is that Miss Brodie also uses her charm and experience to make them do or think what she wants them to do or think. This can be seen in the characters of Rose andSandy. She made them think that they have to be like her, even to the extent of being Mr. Lloyd's lover (something that Miss Brodie has failed or as she would call it, chose not to push through).
