Where did Saint Anthony of Padua live?

St. Anthony was born in 1195 at Lisbon, Portugal, but was constantly travelling, evangelizing, preaching, and teaching theology through Italy and France.

Anthony was born in 1195 in Lisbon, and given the name of Fernando at baptism by His parents, Martin and Mary Bulhom. At age 15 he entered the religious order of St. Augustine. After two years he was sent to Coimbra. There he began intense study to become a priest.
